This week

Ladies, I hope your Mother's Day had joy and love wrapped up for you. I thought of each of you during the day. As my kids get older (20 and 17), I realize how sacred just spending a day together is. Neither kid made it to church with us (Hannah went to prom the night before and Kyle, well...he just chooses not to go), but we spent some great time together in the afternoon.

Why do you think it hurts us so much when our children don't go to church with us? I know they don't mean it as a personal stab at our heart, but that is exactly where we feel it. It is sharp, shattering, and disheartening.

Any thoughts out there? I would love to hear your theory.

Love, Dana
